Tampereen Salonkiorkesteri
Tampereen Salonkiorkesteri (TSO) is an amateur orchestra and the only actively performing salon music orchestra in Tampere and Pirkanmaa.
The program of the orchestra consists of traditional salon music, from popular to light classical. Most of the performances are given in Tampere city center or in the suburbs of Hervanta and Kaukajärvi. You can also book the whole orchestra or a smaller group to play in your event. We will tailor the show together with you to suit your event. Fees of shows will be settled on a case-by-case basis.
From spring 2020 onward the orchestra will be conducted by György Balász with Pekka Ahonen.
Performances
The orchestra will perform in the following concerts in Spring 2026:
Sunday 17.5.. at 3 pm, Koskenmäen koulu,in city of Nokia, Sunday Matinee Conductor György Balázs, solists Terhi Niinimaa, soprano and Taavi Niinimaa, tenor
Sunday 26.4. at 3 pm, Haihara Taidekeskus, Sunday Matinee Conductor György Balázs, solists Terhi Niinimaa, soprano and Taavi Niinimaa, tenor
